If you have ever thought about getting married, you probably have thought about how you will look on your big day. When planning for your wedding day, you most importantly want to be wearing items that reflect you as a couple and are personalized to your taste.
Ask yourself (and your better half) the following questions:
1. Do you prefer a more formal evening? (suits or tuxes, elegant music, candles, decorative center pieces, sparkle)
2. Are you both more earthy? (wood grains, driftwood, outdoor wedding, lots of florals)
3. Are you the ultimate super fans? Is there a movie(s) or show(s) that are truly part of your life? (Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones)
Most people will fall between these categories. It's most important that you and your significant other find the right feeling you want everyone to experience as they attend your wedding events. For choosing your wedding theme and style, start with the colors, invitation, and venues. Next, move to the choices in outfits and accessories for your wedding day. Finally, end with the details all around you: guestbook, table décor, music, type of food offered. Choosing your wedding theme first helps make all the other wedding decisions a bit easier. Remember, the question you should ask yourself is "does this fit our theme and style?"
